Changes in pension deals for teachers could make getting a job even more difficult

Young teachers are finding it hard to get permanent jobs, but changes to pension deals being offered to staff who retire early, could make things a lot worse.

Our Education Correspondent Maggie Taggart has been speaking to Mervyn Magee, Principal of Donaghadee High School about how these changes will affect his staff.

She also met Avril Hall-Callaghan of the Ulster Teachers' Union who told her that the system had been working well and she was concerned about these developments.
