Especially at this time of the year many of them can feel extremely isolated. But there is a new pilot scheme in the Newtownabbey area that's seeking to change that. The Community Befriending Scheme aims to provide support to the 60+ age group on a one to one basis, offering companionship, trust and support. Sarah Travers reports.
