Roll Call at Zoo

A rather unusual roll call is being held at Belfast Zoo as staff count their animals and birds.

January is a busy time of year for many zoos across the UK as they have to carry out an annual stock take, counting each and every animal in their collection.

Legislation requires zoos to keep precise records of every animal birth, death, arrival and departure.

BBC Newsline's Francis Gorman took a trip to the Cavehill site to see the biggest job of the zoo calendar.
