Belfast Blitz Exhibition

There are more than Freemasons crowding into the newly restored Arthur Square Masonic Hall in Belfast city centre at the moment.

They're being drawn in by a new historical exhibition remembering the Belfast blitz in 1941 during which nearly a thousand people were killed.

Mervyn Jess went along and met Cyril Quigly, a survivor of the Belfast Blitz who spoke to him about his experiences.

Seven years ago, on the 60th anniversary of the Belfast Blitz, BBC Newsline commissioned a special series on the subject. We had an exlcusive interviewee with a former Luftwaffe pilot who had taken part in the attacks on Belfast. You can see that interview by clicking the link below.
