First reactions to the big news Some Americans didn't get word of the election results until they touched down in Co. Antrim this morning. The Continental flight into Belfast International from Newark Liberty Airport in New Jersey left before midnight on election night and arrived here at around 9.30 GMT this morning. When the passengers took off, the election was still not decided, but by the time they landed it had been known for several hours that Barack Obama would be the 44th President of the USA. Natasha Sayee met them as they came off the flight and got their immediate reactions to news they had just heard.
