Airport Plans Extra Flights

However, a Residents Group has criticised the new plan for the George Best Belfast City Airport.

Up to three thousand extra scheduled flights could come in and out of the airport every year. But the airport will also be subject to tighter restrictions on noise and flight activity.

A spokesman for the airport welcomed the flight agreement and said it would allow them to serve the wider community.
