Social workers are to be employed at schools in Jersey to help identify behavioural problems, it has been revealed.
The decision follows a review of school suspension policies which revealed teaching staff need to look at why pupils behave badly.
The scrutiny panel has recommended introducing the social workers.
Education Minister James Reed said they would be there to offer support to teachers and staff.
