The British Show Jumping Association's winter competition was cancelled at the weekend after a possible case of strangles was diagnosed.
Strangles is a respiratory infection affecting horses, donkeys and ponies.
Owners have been told to keep animals as close to home as possible until vets diagnose the suspected case.
