Firefighters have been called out to tackle a blaze involving a lorry on the A712 near Balmaclellan in Dumfries and Galloway.
Scottish Fire and Rescue Service crews from Dalbeattie and New Galloway were sent to the scene at 11:15.
A third appliance was then sent from Castle Douglas to assist.
Police Scotland are controlling traffic in the area as it is near a junction, and nearby homes were evacuated as a precautionary measure.
However, residents were allowed to return to their houses after it was confirmed two propane cylinders on the vehicle were empty.
There are no reports of any injuries.
