A teacher has appeared in private at Dumfries Sheriff Court on a charge of contravening the Sexual Offences Scotland Act of 2009.
Eppie Sprung Dawson, 26, from Dumfries, made the appearance before Sheriff Peter Reid.
The St Joseph's College teacher was on a petition alleging the offence, and also accusing her of attempting to pervert the course of justice.
No plea or declaration was made and the case was continued.
