Emersons Green development building work due to start

Building work is due to begin on the final phase of the Emersons Green development in South Gloucestershire.

Outline planning permission has been granted for two primary schools, a secondary school, up to 2,550 new homes and shops serving the new development.

The scheme also includes public playing fields and an all-weather sports pitch.

A 264 space park and ride at Emersons Green aimed at reducing congestion on the A4174 ring road into Bristol was granted planning permission in January.
