Police appeal after pedestrian hit by bus

A pedestrian suffered serious leg injuries after being hit by a bus in Bradford, prompting a police witness appeal.

They were crossing Manchester Road at about 10:40 BST on Monday when they were struck by a single decker First bus, West Yorkshire Police said.

The bus was using the guided bus lane and travelling towards Mayo Avenue at the time.

Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage should get in touch, the force added.
