Formed because, as they claim, there’s nothing much to do in Ireland except drink and make music, The Script have been called Ireland’s biggest band since U2, and have supported former Beatle, Sir Paul McCartney, as well as pop favourites Take That!
The Script last played T in the Park in 2009 and this year is their third visit to Balado. They’ve released two albums to date: their 2008 self-titled debut went to number one in both the UK and Ireland and their single Breakeven has sold over 1.7 million downloads in the US alone.
