2012 Opening Event

Celtic Connections 2012 launched itself in spectacular style on the steps of the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, thanks to the Scottish Power pipe band and flame throwers.

First Night Reviews Round-up

Musically, the festival got off to a flying start thanks to fireworks of the banjo-picking flavour, with Béla Fleck giving a virtuoso performance in front of a packed house.
