He lives to cast, with over 6,000 credits to his name, and if you're on his list of contacts then you can be sure that you've hit the big time. So will any of the eight modelling hopefuls meet his exacting standards?

Mark Summers

Mark Summers knows everyone who is anyone, and is undoubtedly one of the best in the business, having won the British Advertising Craft Award for Best Casting in 2003 and set a record by being nominated on three other occasions.

He began his career as an aspiring actor, training at stage school before moving into casting for advertisements, music videos, films and theatre in both Britain and America.

These days, Mark's impressive roll-call of actors, dancers and models can be seen in films such as East is East, adverts for a whole range of famous brands, and music videos for the likes of 50 Cent, Beyonce, Madonna, Kanye West, Justin Timberlake, Michael Jackson, Scissor Sisters and Goldfrapp.

Mark passes on his extensive knowledge by running a class for models. It's a basic guide to getting that job, and it teaches the vital do's and dont's of casting etiquette. He also occasionally steps out from behind the camera, appearing on MTV's Bump 'n' Grind and Make Me a Supermodel.

Mark's attitude to disability is as frank as his attitude to everything else. He says that he "sees no disability; people are just people".
