    Mamadou Jobe helped Cambridge United win automatic promotion from League Two last season

    Stockport County have signed Cambridge United defender Mamadou Jobe for an undisclosed fee on a three-year deal.

    The 23-year-old made 49 appearances in all competitions as the U's won promotion from League Two last season.

    He could make his debut for the Hatters in Saturday's home game against Wycombe.

    "He is an exceptional defender first and foremost, with a great blend of physical and technical attributes that we feel will really add to our group," boss Jim McNulty told the club website., external

    Josh Austerfield made 50 appearances in all competitions for Salford City last season

    Rotherham United have signed Salford City midfielder Josh Austerfield for an undisclosed fee on a two-year deal with a club option of a further year.

    The 24-year-old made 59 league appearances in two seasons with the Ammies, where he worked under Millers boss Alex Bruce.

    He could make his debut in Saturday's home game against Chesterfield (13:00 BST).

    "He's someone I've worked with before and he brings us good energy and good legs in the middle of the pitch," Bruce told BBC Radio Sheffield.
