What once was MSIM is now MOSI, with the final M (which stood for Manchester) being dropped, giving the Museum a more national-sounding name. ![]() According to Jill Flynn, MOSI’s marketing manager, it’s all down to the public perception of the Museum. "MOSI is a lot more user-friendly than our old name of MSIM. The new brand and its six other variations have given us a chance to reflect all the different themes of the Museum's collections. ![]() MOSI Nucleus "There's science, industry, transport, communications, energy, and of course, most importantly, people. "Our new website reflects MOSI's exciting and dynamic new image, and really demonstrates that there's something for everyone to enjoy at the museum.
