The spider spins out Gordon Brown on her second day in Liverpool
The mysterious giant spider which suddenly emerged from its lair suspended from a derelict building in Liverpool caused such a stir that even the Prime Minister felt compelled to come and see it . Gordon Brown said the 50-foot arachnid, which spent a night on Lime Street's Concourse Tower, was an "enigma."
