BBC Lincolnshire's Sound Sculpture launches at The Usher Gallery in Lincoln.

Lincolnshire's contribution to the "Made in England" project is an interactive sound sculpture. Made in England is dedicated to exploring how England – the place and the people - is expressed through art.

We asked Radio Lincolnshire, online and Look North viewers to suggest sounds for the sculpture which reflected the county of Lincolnshire. Local artist Nick Jones has created the piece with BBC Radio Lincolnshire's engineer Adam Keen working on the technical elements of the work. (The Sounds)

The finished piece has now been launched at the Usher Gallery in Lincoln, where you can see and hear it until Monday 4th May 2009.

For venue location and opening times, see:

Hive will also be on show at the Lincolnshire Show, 24th - 25th June 2009.

Further venues will be confirmed soon. Hive will be touring Lincolnshire and popping up where you least expect it! Visit this page for details of where you can see it.

The project has been funded by Arts Council England, with the BBC working in partnership to promote it, and play an important part in shaping its development.
