We want you to tell us what your ideal daily lineup for a Jersey channel would be. The idea is that this would be a general entertainment channel along the lines of BBC ONE, but aimed at a Jersey audience.

The news

There needs to be 4 news bulletins in a day starting with Island breakfast at 0800, followed by Jersey lunch at 1300, Spotlamp at 1835 and 2225 - a dim view of the island over the past 24 hours.

Other than that the time is your own. We are going to put together a weekly radio times schedule made up of programs with a local angle and issues from your suggestions, so send in your programs ideas such as the docusoap Esplanade - that follows the staff of three major island companies as they battle for survival in the islands finance industry.

Or Base the teen soap shown every Sunday afternoon, that follows the islands youth as they fight for a skate park, campaign for relaxed drug laws and shoot seagulls.

When we have enough suggestions, whatever the genre, we will put together the timetable and publish it here for you to see. If you are creative enough we could even turn the best ideas into web shows with pictures and text.
