For many of the Kenyans who travel to work in Jersey, Christianity plays a vital and vibrant part in their lives. The expression of their faith in traditional Kenyan gospel music is something which is both a familiar comfort from home and a tool which has helped them to build bridges within local faith communities.
In a special one-hour programme, BBC Jersey's Hamish Marett-Crosby, met with a group of five Kenyans working in local hotels and spoke to them about how their experiences in Jersey had impacted their faith and the importance of this support in their lives.
'Kenyan Voices of Faith' includes the visiting workers Isaac, Theresa, Donald, Nicholas and Peter introducing some of the Kenyan music which is particularly special to them and sharing about their experiences in Jersey, so very far from home.
