Pedal Power!

Does the thought of running a mile fill you with dread? Is running out of the question for physical reasons? If you can't run but still want to take part in Sport Relief 2008, don't despair. The BBC Open Centre in Hull might just have the answer.

You could jump aboard our exercise bike and cycle your Sport Relief mile in the comfort of the BBC Open Centre.

If you feel really adventurous you could even cycle all six miles and raise even more money for Sport Relief.

From February 14th until Sport Relief day on March 16th, the BBC Open Centre at Queens Court in Hull is inviting people to cycle their mile (or 6) and raise money for charitable projects in the UK and overseas.

You could raise money through sponsorship from friends and family, ask your workplace to sponsor a cycling team or get people to pledge money for you to cycle you mile in fancy dress!

Don't worry if you've never used an exercise bike before - we'll have experts on hand during the month to help you through.

For more information and to book your place, call 01482 323232 and speak to a BBC Guide.

It doesn't matter how you do it, we just want you to Rise to the Challenge for Sport Relief 2008.
