Ambulance abuse

Paramedics in East Yorkshire say they're increasingly being used as a taxi service for drunken party goers.

Over the weekend they were called to dozens of drink-related incidents which they say are unnecessary and putting a great strain on the service.

Now parts of the east riding are being left exposed as crews like those based in Beverley are being brought into Hull to deal with drunks.

Look North reporter Matt Richards spent a shift with an ambulance crew as they dealt with a typical Friday night.

At the end of the night, Emergency Medical Technician, James Taylor talked to Matt about the night he had just been through.
