I joined the school in 1938, one year of peace and unrationed chocolate biscuits in morning break. From 1939 it was dig for victory, carrots not Cadburys. The bond with classmates has lasted, about 15 of my year have met for the last ten years,times good and bad discussed.
Who knows John Hall, Bernard Perkoff, Bryan Hale, Eddie Cobb, Anthony Cottrell, Robert Hales, Eric Taylor, Leslie Whidby, Philip Bell, Ladies - Audrey Kent, Audrey Devonshire, Elizbeth Peckett, Yvonne Arlidge. And others, do you know them, jog your memory, reunions are held in September.
My career in Electronics started at EMI Hayes, Ferguson and Pye Ltd, finally at Marconi to retirement. Married 1951 (and still), two children,
two grandchildren and one great grandchild of 7 months.
