i was born in oldham in 1924 went to school at st thomas's leesfield nr oldham.started in 1929 until 1939 i had two sisters and one brother and then the war came.i worked in a cotton mill then tranferred to munitions to the end of the war.i got married and moved to skipton then moved on to keighley,were i have lived for the last forty years.my maiden name was rowan.
