About the contributor

My story is recorded in memory of my late father who paid a high price for his part in the second World War. He was a gentle man with no stomach for violence. I have inherited his genes and am exactly the same. This situation has affected me much more than my brother David, who is strong like my mother. This is why I feel it is important to share my story with others who may have lost their fathers in similair circumstances.
