I wasn't born until 1948 but I wanted to put just a couple of my mum and dad's experiences down for them.
Mum and dad emigrated to Australia in the 1970's and unfortunately are now both deceased. Dad was in the Royal Marines and stayed in the Marines until the 1950's. Mum was evacutated three times during the war.
