Akraberg is the name we are using for the two of us. We are post war 'baby boomers'.
One father served in the RAF and was posted to the wonderful Faroe Islands, spending some time at Akraberg. Later he was posted to Egypt.
The other father was a non-combatant, working in farming and the fire service before being drafted into a non-combatant section of the Pioneer Corps.
