I arrived at the Royal Hotel as a Sergeant Wireless Operater Air gunner on 3/9/1944 after travelling via Perth Melbourne Sydney
Brisbane then on the "Lurline" with 375 Australian/American war brides to San Francisco, train to New York Queen Elizabeth to Greenock then overnight train to Brighton.Morten in The Marsh/Enstone for O.T.U. on Wellingtons.Flew on Lancasters Halifaxes---married A Brighton girl and returned to Perth in December 1945.
