Hello, I am a widow aged 78,living in Portsmouth where I have lived all my life. At the moment I am busy at the library working at a computer. I am registered Partially Sighted, and am taking advantage of an offer by the local library, a local charity and Social services of help in using computers. With the help of soft ware, which magnifies and contrasts I am able to use a computer. This service in Portsmouth was the first of it's kind to be offered in the UK. Because of this, we were entered in a nation wide competition and won first prize. Since then other libraries have been interested in setting up a similar scheme.
I have just recently sent an article to the BBC for their WW2 experiences programme; I hope it will be accepted.
