I was born in January 1944 and though I have no memories of WW2 the stories I heard from my family have remained with me and have fascinated me ever since. Now that nearly all of my parents generation are in their eighties or have passed away I am very concious that the history of my family in WW2 resides in my memory and I want to put it on paper whilst I can.
