This is the first time I have posted on this site and am hoping to find anybody who can remember Prestidge Avenue in Ramsgate being bombed towards the end of WW2? I have been researching my family tree and have come upon the information that my g g grandfather "died when a bomb hit his house while he was in his bed". How accurate this information is and when it happend is unknown to me at this time. The only other information I have is that his surname was Twyman.
