I along with schoolchildren from Camberwell London, were evacuated to Pulborough, Sussex, the day before war commenced 2/9/1939.I and thirty other children, were sent to Parham Park, which was the home of the Rt. Hon Clive and Lady Pearson.Although I will write my story later,I would be interested to hear from any of those that are still alive, I know of at least 8, because we had a reunion at Parham last year. Also,is there anybody out there, who were living in the New Cross area, 1943/45, who can remember the day Woolworths, at New Cross Gate, was hit by a V2, causing many deaths. George.
