My Dad was in the army - UK > desert > Italy > prision camp> UK. His family were in the Blitz in London. In those days people sent a lot of letters and my Uncle saved a pile in a cardboard box which I inherited. They are all dead now but I would like their memory to live on a bit through the letters. They are nothing really interesting mostly - bombs, boredom and birthdays - but perhaps they give an idea of what it was like for one family.
I intend to put a few letters on every few days - in date order more or less up to the site closing.
