Tsurumi Railway Station.
While unloading a wagon of steel bars, one of the men found a dead wild rabbit. It was winter at the time and having some reason for believing that it had only been dead a short time, when work was over, he stuffed it in his trousers and took it back to camp. It was skinned and cooked on the quiet in the cookhouse and all concerved lived happily - at least in a manner of speaking - till the end of the war! Beyond that I have no information.
