======================================================
I was born in 1941 and my family lived in Basingstoke. My grandfather was a gamekeeper to the Duke of Wellington at Stratfield. From the age of two, I often stayed with my grandparents, Mr. And Mrs. Passingham.
On the estate was a railway, presumably for transporting munitions and I spent a lot of time by the railway. I believe I became its mascot. My parents died long ago.
