In 1939 I was evacuated to Ipswich for around 3 months returning to watch the Battle of Britain take place over head. This was followed by living in an Anderson Shelter throughout the Blitz followed later by the V1's (Doodlebugs) and V2's (Rockets).

I cannot include stories - there are too many but I am writing my autobiography which includes all details. Those who have read this section find it interesting!!
