I was borne in June 1938. At the time of my birth we all lived in Southampton. 36 Brynston Road.
My Father worked for "Vickers Armstrong Supermarine" he helped to make one of the "Queens". When the war broke out they changed the production line to the "Spitfire" I feel quite confident I do not have to tell you that was a "Fighter Plane".
