==================================================
During the Sheffield Blitz, in 1941, I lived on Baker Street in Attercliffe, Sheffield. The cellars acted as air-raid shelters. When the bombs started dropping, we all gathered in one shelter. One old lady stoood up and her husband said to her, "Where are you going?" She said, "For my false teeth." He said, "They're dropping bloody bombs, not pork pies."
This is a true story.
