My mum was on her way home from Reading to Harrow in london ,she had to change trains at Paddington she had her young sister with her ,there wanted to get home before the air raids started but they were late ,as there headed for the underground a bomb exploded on the underground station .My mum and aunt were unhurt but there was chaos dust ,smoke and raining broken glass all about ,it was terriffying,my aunt panicked and started running towards the explosion my mum had to run and grab her .She got her and eventually led her to safety .it was lucky they were late as they were just heading for the underground when the bomb exploded
