I was going to the cinema with my brother and we were walking down Olive Road to the Lido and we could hear this terrific noise, it was really terrific, we couldn't think what it was. Suddenly, only just above the chimneys were these great bombers and we saw red things coming across the road, they looked red hot. I said "Oh, what are those red things coming out the back?" and this man said "Oh, they're tracer bullets!" We flew across the road, straight into some poor woman's house.
