Hudson crashes into petrol dump in the act of taking off on a detachment prior to El Alemein. Photographs of the crash and the burial of the victims. Hudson crashes whilst taking off from El Khanka to go on detachment a few days previous to the start of the ‘Big Push’ of 1942. It carried a crew of eight five were killed in the kite three got out, two of them died of burns later so there was only one survivor (Paulger) a terrible tragedy.
