Dear Diary

Today was I in the class room suddely there was an air raid it was terrorfing there was a bomb so close it was 100yards away from us , there was one little kid that nearly didn't survive who ws my brother in the end! All though he got on my nerves he was still my brother and if my mum was still alive (when the war ended)and I didn't have my brother then I would be killed and she would never forgive me. So I decided to go back in to save him.I got a bit told off by Mr Street but I waswas horrified that he wouldn't come to the cloisters. We got all of us in the cloisters and had a good sing song and some hot watter mixed with barley sugar .It was scrumy and it made you all nice and warm but we did bring our rugs out with us so we didn't get too cold. Then there was another bomb but not as close and it did desterbe us from sleeping and singing still . Then Gemma started bravely a new song and every one slowly joined in. It was an exiting and scary day, and I hope this war is over soon so I can see my parents and go back to my lovely contry house in london instead of this dump! The beds are made out of wood sometimes people end up lieing on the floor that the beds are so unconfy. I heard that Mrs Ant is going to get our rations tomorrow taking all our ration books!!
Have to go now as i am so tierd, becase i actually went to sleep at about 6.00 am in the morning!!!
Hope the war is over soon.
Night.
Livi
