Although I was born after the war ended it had a lasting effect on all my family. My parents met in the RAF. They were both in Codes and Ciphers and spent time in several different places. They are both dead now and it's too late to ask them about their time in the RAF. Is there anyone who remembers my mother? She was in Stanmore, Leicester East and, especially, at RAF Chilmark, where she spent the summer of 1944. Her name then was Joan Patricia James. If you have any memories of Chilmark that year I'd love to hear them.
