Exeter Shopping
I can remember shopping in Exeter with my Mother when a ME110 fighter flew up Queen Street firing its guns. It must have sneaked in under the radar, a hand grabbed me pulling me into the Shop doorway of Eastmans the Butcher and we spent the rest of the raid down in their cold store.
I remember the shape vividly and in latter years because of an interest in aircraft of all Countries I was able to identify the aircraft as an ME110 fighter.
