It was a saturday. I was sitting, bored, when I had an amazing idea! I went outside and I was so engaged in what I was doing that I didn't hear the throb of jerry engines! Something shining caught my eye and I remembered the sound of bombs from my earlier years in Liverpool. Soon I realised that the Germans were coming back from a bombing raid and that they still had cargo!!!! I rushed into the house yelling to my mother that the jerrys were here!! Of course, because of my age, she thought that it was paranoya. Not until the shining bomb came splintering through our roof and falling through the floor!! I was so scared that I couldn't move and my legs turned to jelly. The bomb started to tick!! Tick Tock, Tick Tock! After ten seconds it would explode and blow us all the way back to Liverpool!! Thankfully I can now look back and laugh at my thoughts then!!!!
