Reception at Hylton Road is manned by Val, Teresa and Pat - they'll always make you welcome. Once you're through the security door at reception you have the choice of going downstairs to the studios or upstairs to the record library, production office and news studio. BBC Hereford and Worcester has two identical studios, known as 1A and 1B for reasons that are lost in the mists of time. You can watch watch going on in them through our studio webcam.Andrew Easton, presenter of the early breakfast show, is sitting at the desk. This is the centre studio and if you phone in to one of the programmes on BBC Hereford and Worcester this is where your call will be taken. In the picture you can see Teresa (also known as Old Bird) answering the phones for the afternoon show. Studio 1B is one of the two broadcast studios at BBC Hereford and Worcester. You can look through the large window into the centre studio. This is the corridor upstairs at Hylton Road, leading to the production office. Off this corridor are the record library the kitchen and the management offices. This room contains BBC Hereford and Worcester's collection of CDs, and the computer that helps choose the music for each programme and logs what is actually played on each show. Max Thomas - also heard on Nathan Turvey's show - is the record librarian. This is the production office where the programme teams work when they're not on the air. It's also where the webteam are based, If you look closely you can see Dan and Andy working away. This is the news studio where the bulletins are read from.
