Get Over It DVD (2001)

"A Midsummer Night's Dream" is the latest of the Bard's plays to form the inspiration for a teen comedy. "Get Over It" is now waiting to tease on DVD, but while the film's fine, the extras are a little dull.

TECHNICAL FEATURES

Picture No issues with the picture quality here. Lots of pretty people in pretty colours - it all looks just fine!

Sound There's nothing special about the 5.1 mix for this film. It really only has musical duties to take care of, and accommodates the soundtrack well, making good use of the speakers.

SPECIAL FEATURES

Making of Featurette This amiable featurette takes us through the usual routine of cast interviews combined with behind-the-scenes footage. Most exciting of the revelations on offer is that Sisqó was a bit nervous about acting. Thankfully Colin Hanks (son of the Oscar-burdened Tom) took him under his wing. Bless.

Outtakes This section should just be entitled "How Martin Short Mugged-up Every Scene". Great value if you think he's funny...

Additional Extra Features Deleted scenes, cast and crew biographies, trailer, and music video.

Region: 2
Chapters: 18
Ratio: 1.85:1 (anamorphic)
