Interviews: Susan Cookson
Exclusive interviews with the Casualty cast

Q. Are the special effects as good as they look on TV, in real life?
A: Yes they are - you don't want to face one of our prosthetics after your lunch.

Q. What has been your favourite scene to film so far?
A: The scene in my first episode with one of our guest artists, Siobhan Finneran, and Simon MacCorkindale - a very emotional scene for all of us.

Q. Have you learnt a lot about medicine since being on the show?!
A: I'm always interested and genuinely curious to find out what all our medical terminology means and I hang on our medical advisor, Dr Phil's, every word.

Q. Maggie is difficult to control…should we look forward to some explosive scenes?!
A: Most definitely.
