BlastYou are in: Cumbria > Blast > Having a Blast ... following sport! ![]() Having a Blast ... following sport!by Natalia Bradford Meet Natalia Bradford, this year's BBC Blast Sport Reporter ... Now that I've been at BBC Radio Cumbria for a couple of weeks, it's only right that I introduce myself to you. I'm Natalia and I'll be the Blast Sports reporter for Cumbria over the next few weeks, which I hope will be a fantastic way for me to get to know more about this beautiful county. ![]() In the next few weeks, I'm particularly looking forward to getting stuck in to a variety of so called "minority sports", such as Arm Wrestling, Archery and Karting. Not only will I be looking at "minority sports", but also how the 2012 London Olympic Games will affect the county, and more conventional sports such as football and rugby league. Originally I'm from Blackburn, Lancashire and whilst there are a lot of sports teams down there, I don't think that they are as varied as the sports which we find here in Cumbria. I can certainly tell you there's nothing like Cumberland & Westmorland wrestling at home! Currently, I'm studying for a Sports Journalism degree at the University of Central Lancashire, which I'll hopefully (fingers crossed!) be graduating from in September 2010. I hope you have as much fun following my adventures, as I have bringing them to you on BBC Radio Cumbria and this website! last updated: 04/08/2009 at 13:17 You are in: Cumbria > Blast > Having a Blast ... following sport! |
